AUHS Courses
AUHS offer a number of valuable courses; which include the opportunity for insurance in keeping with UK Law with regard to Alternative Healing and Mediumship. The Healing course is undertaken using AHA manuals and insurance is gained with BALENS. The Basic Mediumship Course is useful both for experienced Mediums and people just coming into the movement who wish to learn more about the beginning of Spiritualism and mechanics of communication with spirit. The Diploma for Mediumship course gives the successful student the right to put the letters (Dip) after their name and also apply for insurance through BALENS.

Executive Thanks to Members
It is important also to remember that AUHS is a totally Volunteer run, none-profit-making organisation; no one is paid a wage for their willing much appreciated service; except for the satisfaction of having created and supported something good. So you should congratulate yourselves for without your involvement in AUHS at any level; large or small; AUHS would quickly collapse. AUHS respects your constructive input and all your generous efforts are honestly needed if AUHS is to live on.
Why become a member of AUHS – because you are supporting a healthy; friendly; open hearted charity organisation in which all its members no matter where you come from are valued equally without prejudice.

Affiliation
AUHS would like to invite enquiries from Spiritualist Churches and Groups across the British Isles to join us by Affiliating with us. AUHS never intefere with the internal running of our Affiliated Churches/Groups although we do offer advice where requested.
Why Be A Member of AUHS
1) Whether you joined as an Ordinary Member; a Probationer Healer or Affiliated Church. If you graciously give your time to AUHS as Deacon; Minister; Healer; Executive or Medium. All memberships are equally valued and show you actively support the principles and aims of our Association.
2) Membership entitles you to belong to awareness classes in some churches and allows you to consider further study and advancement through the various posts in AUHS; for example becoming a healer, certificated medium or other.
3) You are eligible to be appointed to the honorary position of Assistant Deacon/Deaconess in your church if you are a valued member of that body.
4) You receive FREE copies of our Newsletter twice a year when we have an appointed Newsletter Editor.
5) You are entitled to attend and vote on Association matters at our A.G.M. held in various parts of the country. Your vote; constructive opinions and suggestions can make a real difference to the continued strength and future growth of AUHS.
6) You can ask the President and/or committee for advice on private/spiritual matters.
7) Many churches offer financial discounts to members on:- (i)Services (ii)Special Events (iii)Private Readings by guest mediums All of which are often worth more than the cost of your annual membership. Membership fees are still low but our quality is high; when compared to other Volunteer run Spiritualist Charity Associations.
8) This means your support and commitment can cost nothing in a year; all you have to do is take advantage of all that is offered by AUHS.
9) AUHS are proud to tell you that because of your support; we have one of the largest healer groups in AHA; who are of the highest qualified standard.
